1. Program Overview
These Terms & Conditions govern participation in the Pita Cafe CaterBack SMS text messaging program operated by Pita Cafe, 23535 N Scottsdale Rd, Suite 102, Scottsdale, AZ 85255. The program sends transactional SMS messages related to catering orders placed with Pita Cafe.
2. How to Opt In — Active Consent Required
Participation in the Pita Cafe CaterBack SMS program requires your active, affirmative consent. Consent is collected through two steps, both of which must be completed before any text message is sent.
Step 1 — Online opt-in (checkbox): You must check the SMS consent checkbox on our website catering order form. This checkbox is unchecked by default — you must deliberately select it to opt in. Consent is never pre-selected, assumed, or bundled with any other agreement.
Step 2 — Verbal phone confirmation: After you submit the catering form, our team will call you to confirm your catering order details. During that call, we will verbally ask if it is OK to send you text messages about your catering order. We only enroll customers in the SMS program who have completed BOTH the online checkbox AND given verbal confirmation by phone.
By completing both steps, you confirm that:
- You are the account holder or have authorization to opt in for the provided mobile number
- You agree to receive automated SMS messages from Pita Cafe CaterBack
- You understand that consent is not required to make a purchase
3. Types of Messages
After opting in, you may receive the following types of SMS messages:
- Order confirmation after placing a catering order
- Order preparation and status updates
- Delivery or pickup time reminders
- Post-delivery follow-up to confirm your satisfaction
All messages are strictly related to your catering order. We do not send marketing or promotional SMS messages through this program.
Sample message: "Hi [Name], this is Pita Cafe confirming your catering order for [Date]. Your order is being prepared and will be ready for delivery at [Time]. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help."
4. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies. You may receive between 1–5 messages per catering order placed with Pita Cafe.
5. Message & Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Pita Cafe is not responsible for any carrier charges related to SMS messages received through this program.
6. How to Opt Out
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out:
- You will receive one final confirmation message
- No further messages will be sent to your number
- To re-enroll, reply START or re-check the consent box on our website

8. No Sharing of Mobile or Opt-In Data
Pita Cafe will NOT sell, rent, share, or disclose your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in data, or any personal information to any third parties or affiliates for marketing, advertising, or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent is never shared with third parties.
9. Supported Carriers
Pita Cafe CaterBack SMS is compatible with all major US mobile carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and others. Carrier availability may vary.
10. Opt-In is Not Required for Purchase
Opting in to receive SMS messages from Pita Cafe CaterBack is completely optional and is never a condition of placing a catering order or receiving service from Pita Cafe.
11. Changes to These Terms
Pita Cafe reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted at pitacafeaz.com/terms-and-conditions.html. Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
